July 8, 2025 - The Board of Education has been invited to attend a district staff event at Edenton Baptist Church on July 8, 2025. A quorum may be present; however, no official school business will be discussed during this time.
July 15, 2025 - The Edenton-Chowan Schools Board of Education monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Professional Development Center located at 110 Blade Street, Edenton, NC. The meeting will be open to the public. A call-in number will be provided on the district Facebook page to allow the public to listen remotely.
August 12, 2025 - The Edenton-Chowan Schools Board of Education monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025. The meeting will begin at 5:30pm with a virtual training from the North Carolina School Board Association for our custom policy manual. The other agenda items will continue at 6:30pm following the training and a brief recess. The meeting will be held at the Professional Development Center located at 110 Blade Street, Edenton, NC. The meeting will be open to the public.
September 9, 2025 - The Edenton-Chowan Schools Board of Education monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Professional Development Center located at 110 Blade Street, Edenton, NC. September 18, 2025- The Edenton-Chowan Schools Board of Education has been invited to a USDA visit and tour of the John A. Holmes High School Construction project on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 10am. A quorum of Edenton-Chowan School Board Members may be present for the tour. No official school business will be conducted during this time.
September 23, 2025 - Work session for the purpose of reviewing school and district improvement plans at 7:00 a.m. at Chowan Middle School. The meeting will be open to the public.
October 7, 2025 - The Edenton-Chowan Schools Board of Education monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Professional Development Center located at 110 Blade Street, Edenton, NC. The meeting will be open to the public. A call-in number will be provided on the district Facebook page to allow the public to listen remotely.
