Parent Info

Children arriving by car may be dropped off beginning at 7:45 am.  (Staff members are not available to monitor children before 7:40 am.)  Students are considered tardy if they arrive after 8:15 am.  A parent must accompany them to the office to sign them in at that time.  Students who arrive after 11:30 am will be marked absent for that day.  Please be mindful of your speed and be sure to stop at our stop signs.  Also, please make sure your child exits your vehicle on the right side if at all possible.  Finally, please do not park in the circle driveway next to the building...even if you need to run inside for just a minute.  We have your child's safety in mind!

Dismissal begins at 3:00 p.m. Students who are picked up will be called to the driveway when you arrive. Students not picked up by 3:15 p.m. will be waiting in the office when you arrive, and you will need to come to the door to sign them out.

Visitors

Visitors to our school must ring the doorbell and identify themselves and their reason for visiting before being allowed in.  Visitors must sign in at our office where they will be issued a visitor tag which must be worn at all times.  Parents are welcome, but the concern of the school is to provide a safe, orderly, and inviting learning environment in which disruptions to instructional time are minimized.  Unexpected visitors disrupt the class by distracting teachers and children from their work.  Arrangements should be made in advance with the teacher and principal for longer classroom visitations.  Please remember that in the morning before school starts is not a time to conference with a teacher; an appropriate conference should be scheduled in advance with your child's teacher.

BUS NOTES

Bus notes must be sent on Monday's with your child's schedule for the week. Please remember that children are only allowed two afternoon stop locations. When sending a bus note please include your child's full name, a working phone number where you can be reached, teacher's name, the bus number they need to ride (if you know it), and the physical address of the place they should be dropped off and/or picked up. Changes will not be accepted over the phone.

A Note about Delayed Arrival Days

Whenever we have a delayed arrival due to fog or other situations, we have to make some adjustments. If we are delayed one hour, you may begin dropping students off at 8:50 and breakfast will still be served. If we are delayed two hours, you may begin dropping students off at 9:50 and we will NOT serve breakfast. On two hour delay days, please be sure your child has breakfast before coming to school.

Lost & Found

Each year, we end up with TONS of clothing items and other student belongings in our lost and found.  To help minimize the loss of your child's things, please be sure to have your child's lunchbox, coat, hat, etc. labeled with their name.  And....please come check our lost and found box for anything that may belong to your child.
