About Us

D. F. Walker Elementary School is located in Edenton, NC and is part of the Edenton-Chowan School System. Our facility was completed in 2001 and is located approximately 8 miles north of the county seat. We serve approximately 477 students in 24 core classrooms. Our school is the home to grades 3 through 5. Fourteen of our teachers are National Board Certified and 100% of our teachers are highly qualified. We have been named an Impact School from 2009 - 2012 and a PBIS Exemplar School.
